Hello! My name is John, and I am a native English speaker from South Africa. If you understand English well but find yourself freezing up, feeling anxious, or lacking confidence when it's time to speak—you are not alone. That is exactly what I help my students overcome. With over 7 years of full-time online experience and more than 25,000 lessons taught to students worldwide, I bring a unique, proven depth of practical knowledge to our sessions. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certification, but my real qualification is the many thousands of hours I have spent helping adult learners successfully unlock their speaking potential. My lessons are dynamic, practical, and strictly tailored to your real-life personal and professional goals. I specialize in working with older teens, university students, and ambitious professionals who need to transition from rigid textbook grammar to natural, fluid English. Together, we will focus on exactly what you need to advance: ▪ Real-World Fluency: Learn the natural expressions, idioms, and phrasing that native speakers actually use in daily life. ▪ Professional Edge: Polish your communication for high-stakes corporate meetings, networking, and professional interviews. ▪ Technical Clarity: Master the tricky areas that hold intermediate speakers back, such as pronunciation, prepositions, and natural collocations. My classroom is a highly supportive, patient, and pressure-free environment. I firmly believe that making mistakes is a vital stepping stone to clarity. In fact, making mistakes is part of the learning process. That is why I provide a safe environment to practice in without ever feeling embarrassed. Whether you progress rapidly or prefer a steady, methodical pace, I am dedicated to guiding you at the speed that suits you. Let’s take your English skills to the next level. Book your free 20-minute diagnostic consultation with me today, and let's start building your fluency—one confident conversation at a time.
