Hello! My name is Shivam Rai, and I’m an engineer with a deep love for teaching physics, especially to young minds who are just starting to explore how the world works. I completed my engineering degree from IIT ISM Dhanbad, one of the top institutes in India. Ever since then, I’ve been passionate about simplifying complex science concepts and helping children truly understand the “why” behind everything they see around them.
Coming from an engineering background, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to build strong foundations in physics from a young age. Most kids think physics is all about boring formulas or tough problems, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I teach in a way that makes physics feel fun, relatable, and even magical at times. Whether it’s explaining how a swing works using the concept of pendulums or talking about how a rainbow forms using light refraction, I love turning everyday things into little science adventures.
My approach is very student-friendly. I believe in using real-world examples, simple language, and lots of questions and discussions to help kids think for themselves. I don’t just want them to memorize a formula. I want them to understand what it means, why it matters, and how they can apply it. I adapt my teaching style depending on the child’s level and curiosity, and I’m always patient and encouraging. My goal is to build confidence and a genuine interest in science.
I mostly work with students from grades 6 to 10, and I’m comfortable teaching in both English and Hindi. I offer both online and offline sessions depending on the student’s location and needs. Whether your child is preparing for school exams, wants to strengthen their basics, or is simply curious about how the world works, I’m here to guide them with clarity and enthusiasm.
Physics isn’t just a subject. It’s a way of thinking. Once children start seeing the logic and beauty behind it, they become lifelong learners. I’d be happy to be a part of that journey.
