Plaxedes

Hello! I’m Plaxedes, an experienced and passionate English teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Inclusive Education, a Bachelor of Education in English and Geography, and a 420-hour Level 5 TEFL Diploma. I also have an IELTS Academic overall band score of 7.0. including 8.0 in listening. My specialty is IELTS preparation, and I enjoy helping students build the confidence and skills they need to achieve their target band score. Whether you need help with Speaking, Writing, Reading or Listening, I will tailor our lessons to your specific goals and areas for improvement. I believe that every student learns differently, so I make my classes supportive, interactive and personalised. We will work together through practical activities, exam-style questions, feedback and clear strategies that you can use both inside and outside the classroom. I am patient, friendly and encouraging, and I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes because that is an important part of learning. I also teach General English, conversational English and academic English to teenagers and adults.
