Hi there! My name is Danielle. My native language is English but, I began teaching Sign Language at a Summer Camp that I held in my home, over 2 years ago. Whereas, I began teaching English 6 years ago at a school. I have been teaching ASL, and English, to children and adults, through online platforms for 3 years. However, I had started teaching children with Special Educational Needs about 6 years ago, it was during that time that I fine tuned my language and teaching skills. I have worked at various schools and on different online tutoring platforms. I am also able to speak Spanish and French at an intermediate level, while I speak Japanese at a very basic level.
I love teaching and believe in hands-on, adaptive and interactive learning. I have been teaching for over 6 years. I have a teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Diversity and Inclusion in Education, Educating Deaf Children, and American Deaf Culture.
