Hello, my name is Nokuphila Bongeka. Also known as Bongi. I'm from South Africa in a city called Johannesburg. I am a full-time high school teacher, who has been teaching since 2019. I currently teach English and IsiZulu to students from grade 8 to grade 11. I have 7 years teaching experience in Languages. I started teaching temporarily in Primary school in 2017 to 2018. Mainly teaching Grade 6 and 7 until I got a permanent job at a high school where I'm currently at. This is where I was able to showcase my skills since I was teaching students who were coming in from primary schools and was able to lay a proper foundation to their high school education. This is where we dived deep into grammar, sentence construction, novels and orals which trained them to speak loudly and confidently. This showed when they got Distinctions in Grade 12, which is something to be proud of. As some of them come from underprivileged backgrounds, which may come as a disadvantage to them because they don't have access to a lot of educational materials.
