As a student, I used to hate English because I found it extremely difficult to grasp... and also because, till then, I had never met a teacher who could actually ignite my passion for such a beautiful language! Then, at the age of 14, I met a teacher who finally understood my difficulties and turned them into opportunities! We began meticulous work starting from the very basics and, step by step, one mistake after another, I discovered the hidden gems of this language. Through various activities and workshops, that teacher was successfully sparking something new in my mind: rejection had turned into interest, and interest was taking on the contours of passion. That summer, I went to New York and Washington on a study holiday, had exciting experiences in the Big Apple, and stayed on a real campus with students from all over the world. There, I realised that my passion had just turned into love, and from then on, I embarked on an endless journey that has brought me to where I am today. Over the years, thanks to other experiences and many native-speaking friends, my relationship with English has continued to grow and will continue to do so!
