Hello! My name is Vicky, and I am a Mandarin Chinese conversation tutor from Beijing, China. I studied both in China and in the United Kingdom, with academic backgrounds in engineering, journalism, and sports management. For more than 20 years, I have worked in media and communications, including experience as a journalist. These experiences have allowed me to interact with people from different cultures and helped me understand how important language is in real communication. In my classes, my goal is to help students actually speak Chinese, not just learn vocabulary and grammar. My lessons focus on relaxed and natural conversation. We can talk about daily life, Chinese culture, travel, food, news, or any topic you are interested in. I usually organize my classes based on each student’s learning goals so that the lessons are both enjoyable and effective.
