Hello how are you? My name is Josselyn, I am a 27 year old Dutch girl currently living in South Africa. After my studies (International Tourism Management & Consultancy) I decided to seek the sunshine and now I have lived here for 5 years. Since the beginning of 2022 I have been teaching Dutch on various platforms. I really enjoy teaching online, it's great to see the progress of students. There are two types of students that I prefer to work with, the first group are the complete beginners. Starting at the beginning and providing a good basis is very important to me. The other group are the students who can already speak a bit of Dutch and who would like to improve their vocabulary/pronunciation/grammar. For example, students who want to take the ''inburgerings'' exam. Of course it doesn't stop there, I have a number of regular students with whom I read books (in this case Harry Potter) and we translate the words from Dutch to English.
