My name is Demilade, and I’m a passionate and dedicated Chemistry teacher with over four years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education (Chemistry), and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both local and international students, helping them build confidence and achieve strong results in Chemistry. I believe Chemistry becomes much easier and even enjoyable when it is explained clearly, step by step, and in a way that connects to real life. My goal in every class is not just to help you pass exams, but to help you truly understand what you are learning. My classes are student-focused and highly personalised. Before we begin, I take time to understand your current level, strengths, challenges, and academic goals. Whether you’re struggling with the basics, revising for an important exam, or aiming for top grades, I design each lesson to suit your specific needs. I don’t rush lessons, and I always encourage questions I have strong experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, A-Level, British Key stages and secondary school Chemistry, and I am very familiar with exam standards, common mistakes, and effective answering techniques. During lessons, we work through clear explanations, guided practice, past questions, and exam strategies to help you feel confident and well-prepared. My teaching style is friendly, calm, and supportive, but also structured. I like to break complex topics into simple ideas, use examples and diagrams where necessary, and check for understanding throughout the lesson. I also give helpful feedback and tips on how to study Chemistry more effectively outside class. I especially enjoy teaching secondary school students, teenagers, and exam candidates, and I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported.
