I bought two packs of 10 lessons with Birgit for me and my sister. The amount of good reviews and the free 15 minute class she offered convinced us to buy them in order to have 10 single lessons each. However, as soon as we began to book our lessons with her, Birgit started to cancel them at the very last minute or even after the planned time. Every day there was an excuse to skip the classes – traffic, holidays, family, poor connection…- and during one month we only had 2 classes each. After she ignored the messages my sister sent her on Skype while waiting for her for ONE HOUR to start the class (the day after she stated that she had a virus in her computer, but we had seen her online all day), we decided to talk to her in order to try to fix the almost total lack of organization. That first talk seemed to work but not for long. Due to the fact that she started again with the previous behaviour and since we understood that, in that situation, it was only a waste of time for us, we kindly asked her to end the course and to have our money back (ONLY the money for the classes we didn’t take). At first she disappeared and then, after sending her another email, she answered blaming US for not having booked any other lesson and for having caused HER trouble, forcing her to anticipate her holiday. Actually the situation caused problems for us, since, as we said to her before paying for the packs, we needed to pass an important test the month after – test that we couldn’t take anymore due to our lack of preparation. Since then, we have sent her other emails and messages that she never replied to. We asked for help to Classgap as well, but their solicitation didn’t give any results. In conclusion, she ended the course but SHE DIDN’T GIVE OUR MONEY BACK.
