Simone
My name is Simone Roggio, and I am a young professional who has chosen to combine two educational paths that may seem distant, yet are in fact complementary: Mechanical Engineering and Music.
After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, I decided to continue with a Master’s Degree, which I am currently pursuing. At the same time, I cultivated my musical vocation with dedication, completing both the Bachelor’s and the Master’s Degree in Flute Performance at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Turin, further enriching my training through masterclasses and advanced courses with internationally renowned teachers.
My professional experience unfolds along two paths:
In the technical field, I have developed strong analytical, design, and digital skills, enabling me to tackle complex problems with precision and method.
In the artistic and teaching field, I have had the opportunity to collaborate as Principal Flute with orchestras and chamber ensembles, while also performing in a wide range of contexts, from public concerts to private events. In addition, I have gained significant experience as a flute teacher, working with students of all ages and levels, and developing a teaching approach based on listening and enhancing each individual’s potential.
This dual background has allowed me to cultivate a flexible and interdisciplinary mindset, combining the scientific and technical rigor of engineering with the sensitivity, creativity, and expressiveness developed through music.
I am convinced that the richness of these experiences enables me to approach new challenges with enthusiasm and dedication, whether in technical contexts or in artistic and musical ones.
