I'm originally from China and currently live in Japan. I started learning Japanese, English, and Korean as an adult, so I know what it's like to learn a language from scratch — and how exciting it feels when you can finally express yourself in another language!
I've been teaching Mandarin since 2021, working with learners from different backgrounds through online lessons. I also teach Japanese and enjoy helping students discover the connections between languages and cultures.

Culture & daily life — exploring China, Japan, and other East Asian cultures through language.
Chinese & Japanese connections — discovering how the two languages relate, or learning one through the other.
What's it like to learn with me?
My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and adapted to your interests and level. I believe language learning should be more than memorizing vocabulary and grammar. It's about connecting with people, understanding different perspectives, and discovering new ways of seeing the world.
We'll still work on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, but always with the goal of helping you actually use the language.
I love getting to know people from different backgrounds, and I genuinely enjoy the conversations and cultural exchanges that come with teaching.
