Hello! I’m Supriyo, currently pursuing my PhD in Physics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. Physics has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I love sharing that excitement with students who want to truly understand the subject rather than just memorise formulas. What makes my classes different is that I focus on building intuition. Whether it’s quantum mechanics, relativity, or classical physics, I try to explain the “why” behind every concept, often with real-world examples or even simple analogies (sometimes as fun as the physics of a frisbee!). I believe that when concepts click, problem-solving becomes much easier and more enjoyable. I like to organise my classes according to your goals: If you are a university student, I can guide you through core physics courses, problem sets, and exam preparation. If you are preparing for competitive exams , I can share strategies and insights from my own journey (I ranked All India 21 in IIT JAM and 48 in JEST). If you’re simply curious about physics and want to explore advanced topics like cosmology, quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, electromagnetism or particle physics, I’d love to tailor the lessons to your curiosity. My style is very interactive — I like students to ask questions, challenge ideas, and even bring problems they’ve been stuck on. I also use visual tools, step-by-step derivations, and, where needed, computational demonstrations (Python/Mathematica) to make abstract ideas more concrete. Most importantly, I want my classes to feel like a conversation, not a lecture. You’ll never feel lost or left behind — I’ll adjust the pace and depth to what works best for you. I look forward to helping you gain confidence in physics and maybe even start to see it the way I do: not just a subject, but a fascinating way of looking at the universe
