My name is Jillian, and I am a professional language educator with a Bachelor of Education and over four years of experience in the classroom. Having served as a Head of Department, I have spent my career mastering the art of making language acquisition both structured and incredibly fun. I specialize in bridging the gap between English and French for learners of all levels.
I don’t believe in dry, textbook-only lessons. Language is a living, breathing tool for connection, and my classroom reflects that. My methodology is built on three pillars:
The 80/20 Rule: My goal is to get you talking. I act as your linguistic coach, providing the framework and support so that you spend 80% of our time practicing and only 20% listening to lectures.

One of my proudest achievements is my rapid progression to Head of Department within four years, where I lead curriculum design and teacher mentorship. I am equally proud of successfully integrating music and drama into my language lessons, which has transformed hesitant students into confident, fluent speakers who truly enjoy the process of learning.
