Vorrei suscitare in te l'amore per la Matematica. L'amore è la premessa per raggiungere il tuo obiettivo. Alla fine avrai dimostrato .... un Teorema : "Se ami la matematica allora la matematica non è difficile" . Insegno Matematica da 40 anni; ho insegnato in diverse università Italiane e ho conosciuto tanti studenti, di ogni età con buone conoscenze di base ma anche completamente senza alcuna conoscenza pregressa (con questi ultimi la sfida è stata più entusiasmante)...tutti, ma proprio tutti, hanno dimostrato il teorema dato in premessa.

I could say I've been a teacher since I was in elementary school helping my classmates with their first math problems, but maybe that's not true. I really got involved as a mentor after graduation when I joined Save The Children's education volunteer project to support at risk children and adolescents. Since then I have (re)discovered this passion that keeps pushing me and having fun every day! I teach alongside myself, following doubts and difficulties together, supporting each student to discover the solutions and strategies that best suit their way of learning and understanding the subject. I believe that practicing is the best way to learn and therefore the exercises are at the heart of my approach, becoming a stimulus to review the concepts related to their performance. I have experience with students of all ages from elementary to adult, also with BES and DSA.

Hi, I'm Lisa and have been a qualified KS2 to KS4 teacher for 15 years in the UK and an online tutor for 4 years, I am passionate about the subjects I teach and look to extend that passion into the lessons that I plan. I have developed a deep understanding of what online tutoring entails and have developed my teaching to accommodate this so that my students get the best out of me and out of the lesson. I am personable and strive to build a good rapport with my students to ensure that I am providing them with focused, tailored support. I love to creative imaginative lessons for my students tailored specifically for them but always with a challenge which is important for them to extend themselves and thrive in a conducive environment. I enjoy using technology such as whiteboards and virtual games that will enhance their learning experience. Short term goals are set for each lesson so my students know where they are in the learning process and the context for why they are carrying out the activity. As we go forward together, longer term goals are set and a portfolio of work is set up so that they can look back and see how far they've come. By providing one-to-one support, I can hone their lessons to ensure that I am teaching the right content at the right pace for their learning style. Values are very important to me and I am Head of Values at the school where I work. I ensure that my lessons are values based and mutual respect is shown at all times. I look forward to meeting you!
