I have just finished my A-Levels, being predicted 4A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. I have also achieved 9s in GCSE Triple Science, Maths and Further Maths, among others. I love to be able to teach and help students grasp all the knowledge and apply them to challenging problems and exam practice. I am looking for students who need that extra help to fully understand content or to master exam practice and being a current student myself, I can offer first-hand advice on revision plans and strategies. I have had over 6 months of experience tutoring children ranging from primary school to Year 11s. I have also mentored secondary students with reading and English skills for 12 months. I am a university student currently studying zoology with marine zoology at Bangor university. I was a teaching assistant in a special needs primary school for a short period of time. Whilst I have no prior official tutoring experience I was the go to person in high school to help in explaining areas in maths in which they were struggling. For my tutoring approach I'd like to look at how the content has been explained by the teacher and then find where the student is struggling, from this I would then explore different methods in which the explain the content to help them understand it clearly.
