Hello! I'm Sihlobo Mpofu, I have a PhD in Mathematics from the University of KwaZulu Natal, I also have a master's degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. I have taught Mathematics to students from Grade 7 to University students. My philosophy is that all students can afford to do mathematics and they can pass it very well. Mathematics is a skill subject. The more we practice and reflect on what we do, the more we understand and do better in mathematics. Learning mathematics is the same as learning a new language. As you learn new terms, symbols, diagrams and graphs you must understand their meaning first. Mathematics is usually built on previously learned concepts therefore it is hierarchical. As a student I take you where you are and the sky is the limit meaning you can go to greater heights in mathematics.

Le mie lezioni, sia di fisica che di matematica sono incentrate sul comprendere, in primis, l'argomento che si sta trattando, specialmente se si tratta di fisica, capire in quale ambito ci troviamo, inquadrarlo, poi svilupparlo, fugare ogni dubbio a riguardo e via con esercizi ed esercizi. In particolare per la matematica, le lezioni sono incentrate sulla risoluzione degli esercizi, giustificando ogni passaggio con nozioni teoriche. Aperto ad ogni possibile domanda dello studente affinché la chiarezza sia il cavallo di battaglia della lezione.

Sono Jessica Ho studiato chimica ma non mi sono laureata ho sempre dato ripetizioni private da quando ho 16 anni. Impartisco lezioni di matematica fisica e chimica a studenti di elementari medie superiori e universitari. A livello universitario aiuto nella superamento del test d'ingresso e negli esami del primo del secondo anno. Le mie lezioni si svolgono inizialmente con un test dove cerco di capire eventuali lacune che può avere lo studente dopo di che svolgiamo assieme i compiti dati dall'insegnante dopo un breve ripasso teorico. Uso fare molti schemi e a preparare esercizi in più in base alle lacune dello studente. In questo momento preferisco dare ripetizioni online per un discorso di logistica visto che lavora in un supermercato part time ma ho una bimba di un anno e mi è difficile stare fuori casa tutto il giorno. Preferisco quindi dare ripetizioni online o a casa mia.
