I believe that an excellent learning environment must be open and encouraging. Learning should be fun! I strive to create a comfortable environment in which students are free to ask questions and express what they think and share their rules/ideas. I have taught at various levels of education due to my experience; for example, I have successfully taught students from a junior secondary level to a senior secondary level in schools and in preparation for localised and international examinations. I do not view myself as a traditional teacher; I am a teacher who combines traditional methods of teaching, using newer tools, for the best possible outcomes. As educators, a lot of us are engaged in curriculum writing and development in different areas of education. I have academic research published and have developed academic content, primarily in the context of science education, as well. In addition, I also use technology in my own practice and data about my students to employ methods where I can engage my students quickly and efficiently while continuing to support their learning needs. The students I am most interested in working with are at the junior and senior secondary school levels and anyone embarking on their way to write a maths or science proficiency exam.
