Sarah
I am an engineer in Applied Mathematics and a former Data Scientist, now dedicated to tutoring Mathematics and Physics. With a background that bridges both quantitative sciences and social sciences, I bring a rigorous yet flexible teaching approach. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop strong analytical skills, solid methodology, and genuine confidence in their abilities.
I have more than three years of experience working with students from diverse backgrounds: the French Baccalaureate (sciences and advanced mathematics), International Baccalaureate (IB), A-levels, SAT, and other international programs. Having lived in France, Taiwan, and Austria, I am used to teaching expatriate and international students, often supporting them during transitions between different educational systems.
Lessons are available in both English and French, depending on the student’s needs and preferences. My teaching style focuses on:
ensuring a clear understanding of key concepts,
re-explaining difficult topics with accessible examples,
strengthening problem-solving strategies,
improving scientific writing and clarity of reasoning,
building the student’s independence and confidence.
Whether the goal is exam preparation, catching up in class, or building long-term skills for higher education, I tailor each lesson to the student’s profile and objectives. More than simple tutoring, my approach is about equipping students with the tools and mindset to succeed academically and beyond.
