For YCT, I mainly teach Level 1. Kids at this age have learned pinyin but are still new to characters. They can connect ancient script to modern words. I’ll help them read and write better.
For HSK, I explain tricky words like “还是” vs “或者”, “一点儿” vs “有点儿”, and “快乐” vs “高兴”. I use real-life examples to make it clear.
Finally, culture—my favorite part. We can talk about ancient arts or modern subculture terms. If you’re an artist or businessperson interested in Chinese comics or fan events, I can help.
