Let's get to know your voice more and improve the vocal and confidence! Usually my students love to sing (obviously) and lots of them are beginners. That's right, usually we're not used to hear our own singing voice. It happens to non beginners too. Maybe you might find it weird, strange, maybe started to think "is my voice really sounds like this?", "How other people think about my voice?", "I really want to be able to sing like that!", "I think I'm just going to sing when I'm alone?", "How can I improve my singing?" If you ever think about that, that's reasonable and I understand those struggles because I did too. So are you going to let those thoughts sitting in your head for long and do nothing about it? Or you'd like to make a changes for it? Don't worry about how are you going to go through the class, this is the place for you to learn and make as many mistakes as you need and I will be there to guide you. The class material will be specifically adjusted to your own needs and goals so there's nothing to be afraid of. I hope that I would be able to be a part of your journey. Since then, I've played with a variety of bands and musicians including well-known artists such as John Baggott (Robert Plant, Massive Attack, Portishead), Rob Mazurek (Exploding Star Orchestra, Chicago Underground, Pharoah Sanders), Little Ed (Chicago Blues star), Smilin' Bobby (Chicago Blues elder), Mary Lane (Chicago Blues singer), Butch Trucks (drummer of the Allman Brothers Band), Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Colonel Bruce Hampton, Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band), and more. In addition to that, I've studied guitar with Dave Manley (Herbie Hancock, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu), Mike Stern (Miles Davis, Brecker Bros, Jaco Pastorius), Tim Miller (Mick Goodrick, Randy Brecker, George Garzone), Norm Zocher (Jerry Bergonzi, Bob Moses, Esperanza Spalding) and many other great players. I've taught people of many different ages and backgrounds. My approach is based on the goals of each individual student, and I do my best to use what I've learned over the years to create meaningful lessons for everyone.

HELLO My name is Silvia Favaretto, I'm eighteen years old and I'm in my fifth year at the Riccati-Luzzatti High School for Economics and Social Sciences in Treviso. Even though I'm still a student, I'm quite experienced in giving lessons. I participated in the Help Junior school project, which involves first-year students supporting the studies of the school's younger students. I'm also a member of the school's debate team and have obtained a B2 Cambridge English certification. Finally, I was among the twenty finalists in the EconoMia competition organized by the Turin International Economics Festival. These experiences have allowed me to acquire a wide and varied knowledge and skillset that I now want to leverage as I enter the world of work. With several years of study under my belt, I've come to believe that intelligent learning requires certain conditions. First, the explanation should be clear and as personalized as possible to the student. The use of maps/diagrams and digital tools is also a valuable aid. Finally, it's my personal opinion that content review is more effective when done through questions or quizzes, to avoid passive memorization. I believe understanding should be accompanied by reflection and internalization that doesn't render what needs to be learned useless. I would like to base my lessons on these points. I am a helpful, responsible, and enthusiastic person, and I try to put the utmost dedication into all my activities, as I hope my resume demonstrates.
