I perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician. I have been awarded first prizes at international competitions several times and regularly perform in classical and jazz/pop formations. Beginners, advanced violinists and aspiring violin students are in good hands with me. All aspects of violin playing such as technique, intonation, register playing, vibrato etc. including compositions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are integrated as well as modern styles from the 20th or 21st centuries. Playing the violin should be fun for my students, so in addition to the technique of playing, musical expression is also taught with this versatile instrument. I approach my younger students with creativity and empathy. Ambitious students learn the classical and romantic violin literature required for their studies. If desired, the students can take part in competitions, auditions or Prepared entrance exams at music universities. I look forward to your inquiry! Le mie lezioni sono realizzate iniziando dallo studio di un brano, in base al livello dello studente, che entra in contatto con la ritmica, l'armonia e la struttura del brano. Durante studio non mancano le tecniche dello strumento e la teoria musicale, che viene affrontata in modo più semplice perché presa direttamente da un brano. Il percorso viene deciso con gli allievi anche in base alle esigenze. Per gli studenti interessati è possibile preparare insieme gli esami per le certificazioni di musica Rock&Pop del Trinity College London.

Même si l'on peut s'amuser au piano sans bagage théorique, la compréhension totale de l'instrument nécessite de connaître, au moins, la base du solfège. Avec mes cours, vous apprendrez à déchiffrer une partition grâce à l'apprentissage des notes, du rythme ainsi que tout le lexique musical. Pour les plus curieux, nous apprendrons également à analyser la construction d'une musique, à la décomposer afin que vous puissiez faire votre premier pas dans l'improvisation et, à terme, que vous puissiez avoir votre propre patte dans vos interprétations.

I started studying the pianoforte in 1984 at the age of 12 with the late Cyrus Shahrdar, whose father Moshir Homayoun Shahrdar was the first know professional pianist in Iran. In 2011, I received certification (equal to B.A.) as classical piano performing artist from the Iran House of Music , the leading professional music organization in Iran. I am now Senior Member in Iran House of Music, and also a registered and certified member of Iran's Society of Classical Music Artists.My method of teaching has evolved over the years, becoming more flexible and efficient. In music teaching, one size does not fit all. I assess the student's talent, objectives, and perseverance, and according to these parameters, I tailor my teaching to the extent that I can to help each student to play the piano the best he or she can play and enjoy.I teach different genres, from Classical to western rock, pop, Iranian and even new age.
