As a student, I used to hate English because I found it extremely difficult to grasp... and also because, till then, I had never met a teacher who could actually ignite my passion for such a beautiful language! Then, at the age of 14, I met a teacher who finally understood my difficulties and turned them into opportunities! We began meticulous work starting from the very basics and, step by step, one mistake after another, I discovered the hidden gems of this language. Through various activities and workshops, that teacher was successfully sparking something new in my mind: rejection had turned into interest, and interest was taking on the contours of passion. That summer, I went to New York and Washington on a study holiday, had exciting experiences in the Big Apple, and stayed on a real campus with students from all over the world. There, I realised that my passion had just turned into love, and from then on, I embarked on an endless journey that has brought me to where I am today. Over the years, thanks to other experiences and many native-speaking friends, my relationship with English has continued to grow and will continue to do so! I have been teaching English for about 10 years and, over the last 4 years I have been working on online platforms such as Letuelezioni (𝐡𝐭𝐭𝐩𝐬://𝐰𝐰𝐰.𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢.𝐢𝐭/𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢/𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨-𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨-𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚.𝐡𝐭𝐦), where I love helping people learn English in a dynamic and interactive way so that they can't wait to use the skills they have acquired in class in the real world. Finally, while at university, I fell in love with Chinese! A language that despite being linked to a thousand-year-old culture is establishing itself more and more in today's political and economic landscape! At first glance, Chinese characters may seem meaningless and impossible to learn, but with the right method, they become a mine of information and arouse a deep fascination! Chinese offers a great deal in terms of personal and professional fulfillment, but it also requires continuous dedication and commitment. If you are ready for this challenge, then don't hesitate to put yourself to the test! My personal experience as a student is what inspires my teaching method. I believe that the first step in being able to convey the love for something is to feel that love yourself for what you are teaching, otherwise it all boils down to a simple and empty transfer of knowledge. My lessons always begin with a trial class in which getting to know each other plays a fundamental role. The student and the teacher must recognise each other in a journey that will engage and enrich both of them from multiple points of view. This first lesson is also dedicated to identifying the student's level and developing a targeted action plan to achieve the objectives. I hope to start a journey with you soon.
