Hello, I’m Ishtar, a native Chinese speaker with ten years of professional teaching experience. I have taught Chinese in international schools across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Thailand, and I have supported adult learners from Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. With bilingual instruction in both Chinese and English, I help learners progress with clarity, confidence, and accuracy. I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. I also hold a Chinese Teaching Qualification Certificate, an Advanced TCFL Certificate, a U.S. Montessori Teacher Certificate, and a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. If you’re a beginner, you are absolutely welcome! Many of my students started from zero, and I specialise in helping new learners build a solid foundation.
