Hi there! 😊 I'm Fatemeh, an English teacher from Iran, currently living in Lyon, France, where I'm pursuing my Master's degree in Human Rights and Diplomacy. I've been teaching English for five years, working with teenagers and adults of different levels, both online and in person. And if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that everyone learns differently, and that's what makes teaching so interesting to me! So, what can you expect from my classes? First of all, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere! I know how intimidating speaking a foreign language can be, especially when you're worried about making mistakes. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable enough to try, ask questions, and learn without feeling judged. I like to get to know my students and understand what they actually need. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, finally make sense of English grammar, expand your vocabulary, or simply feel more confident having conversations, we'll work on it together. I believe lessons should be interactive, practical, and enjoyable. I use real-life situations, conversations, and different activities to keep things interesting, while making sure we're actually making progress. And yes, we'll work on grammar too, but I promise it doesn't have to be boring! A little more about me: I speak Azerbaijani, Persian, and English, and I'm currently learning French and Korean myself. So I completely understand both the excitement and the struggles of learning another language! I'm patient, curious, and always happy to have a good conversation. One of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing a student who was once too shy to speak finally express themselves with confidence.
