Hello! I'm Kanae, a certified Japanese language teacher. I teach Japanese to students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I use popular textbooks such as *Genki*, as well as original materials that I create based on each student's goals, interests, and learning needs. In our first lesson, we'll discuss your learning objectives and current Japanese level. Based on that, I'll create a study plan that's right for you. Whether your goal is to communicate more confidently in everyday situations, pass the JLPT, prepare for a trip to Japan, or improve your Japanese for work, I'll help you reach your goals at your own pace. I currently work at a pharmacy, so I can also support students who want to learn Japanese related to healthcare, medicine, or daily life in Japan. I am also currently teaching Japanese online to Australian students, which has given me valuable experience working with learners from different backgrounds. In addition, I volunteer as a Japanese language teacher for foreign residents in my local community. To strengthen my teaching skills, I completed a preparation course for the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test and passed the Foundation Test for Japanese language teachers.
