Welcome to my trumpet and brass lessons! I’m an experienced and passionate teacher with over 20 years of expertise, and I’m here to help you unlock your full musical potential. My lessons are tailored to fit your individual needs, whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player. I focus on building strong fundamentals, including technique, sound production, breathing, and articulation, all while fostering your creativity and musical expression. I teach at the Hamburg Academy for Music and Culture and the Vorarlberg Music School in Austria, and I’ve had the pleasure of teaching at many renowned music schools in Germany over the years. My experience at these institutions has shaped my approach to teaching, which is built on patience, clear communication, and making learning fun. Each lesson is designed to be engaging and personalized, with a mix of practical exercises, music theory, and performance pieces in a variety of styles. I focus on key techniques like slurs, scales, tonguing, and sight-reading, and we’ll also work on pieces ranging from classical to contemporary music, as well as songs you love! I believe in a friendly, approachable teaching style that encourages students to ask questions, explore their musical interests, and build confidence in their abilities.
