Hi! I'm Marco, and I hold a degree in Composition and Film Scoring. I offer lessons ranging from introductory music for absolute beginners to advanced topics such as orchestration, composition, and film scoring. I have extensive experience teaching electric guitar, and I always strive to tailor my lessons to the individual student's needs. My lessons are divided into two parts: a technical/theoretical section and a practical session focused on exercises. During the latter, we work on applying the information we've learned, making sure to keep things engaging while tackling the assignments. Feel free to ask me anything—we will find the best way to make it work for you!

I am João Mateus. I am from Portugal but now I am living and studying ion Netherlhands. I am studying classical viola in Royal Conservatory The Hague. I started palying the viola 7 years ago. I play the viola but I can give violin lessons too. I have a loto of experience playing in a orchestra. I participated twice in "Orquestra APROARTE" which is a national youth orchestra in Portugal, and I also had the opportunity to work with a lot of conductors in some symphonic orchestras. I have a teaching experience of 2 years. I started with basic music theory, and then broadened my area with piano, drums and guitar. Since I am confomrtable in all kinds of communication wheter it is online or face to face, or it is in different languages, it is easier to understand me, and learn for the students. I do not have a specific level to teach. I can teach from beginner to advanced levels. For me, age does not matter in learning. Any person can contact me easily and be confident that learing is a great thing. I also produce and listen to music a lot. With that, while teaching, I am also learning, and improving every day. I listen to, and make different kinds of genres of music. I do not have a favorite one. This being the reason, I am open to teach any kind of genre that people would like to learn. My teaching methods are both theoretical and practical. With both ways it is possible to improve. One of the the most important things is, what the person who wants to learn wants. I am open to different techniques. Discipline and hardwork is a requirement to me. With a solid mentality of learning and practice, the possibilites and the room for improvement are a lot more. I am currently studying my Master's Degree, so I have flexible working hours. I am available more than 20 hours a week. I have all the required technical equipments. I hope that we will be having a great time together folks!
