Hello! I am an American linguist and English teacher with over 30 years of professional experience. Besides my work, some of the things that I am interested in and enjoy include dogs, cats, nature, traveling, cultures, languages, reading, writing, conversation, public speaking, education, current affairs, space, science, history, law, medicine, cooking, biking, skating, hiking, camping, horseback riding, ice hockey, house building, volunteering, problem solving, coaching, empowering people, self-improvement, and maximizing human potential. I know that YOU have your interests too. There is always something to talk about, and even write about, in order to build and empower your English skills.
From Portland State University, I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a strong focus on learning, communications, and sociology. In addition, I graduated from the US government Defense Language Institute as a Russian interpreter. I have over 30 years of professional experience as a linguist and teacher. I use my skills and knowledge to help people communicate, learn, improve habits, build solutions, and achieve their goals. Besides teaching remedial English to Americans with communication problems, I have also taught English in several foreign countries. Since 2010, I have taught English abroad full-time, both online and offline, to thousands of students of all ages and levels in 40 different countries. I have taught English for companies, universities, primary and secondary schools, teaching agencies, language centers, language clubs, immigration programs, and private individuals.
Language is a performance art. My students learn by actively doing. I engage my students in real-world, whole English that they can use. I have a huge collection of high-quality English materials of enormous benefit to my students worldwide. Making good use of the right physical and mental tools and resources allows anyone to succeed in English and build their dreams into reality.

Can I modify a booking?
Yes, something unexpected can always happen, so you can change the time or day of the lesson. You can do it from your personal area in "Scheduled lessons" through the option "Change date".
