About me

Hello, my name is Brendon. I’m a native English teacher from South Africa. I have a degree in education along with a TEFL certification. I’ve been teaching English for more than eight years and really have a great passion for what I do. Outside the classroom I enjoy playing sports, travelling and enjoying a good laugh with friends. Teaching has given me the opportunity to meet students from all around the world. These experiences have helped me create a fun, supportive and respectful classroom environment where everyone feels welcome. My teaching methodology is student-centred, communicative and interactive. I focus on practical English, encouraging students to develop their speaking confidence, pronunciation, vocabulary and communication skills through real-life conversations, guided activities and interactive exercises. I adapt my lessons to each student's individual needs, English level and learning goals. I believe in learning through practice rather than simply memorising grammar rules.
