About me

I´ve been teaching English for almost a year and I´ve been studying it for a few years now. I know first hand how hard and challenging it can be to learn a new language, specially on your own, but also how rewarding and beautiful it is to be able to communicate in a way you never tought possible before. That is why being a teacher has been for a long time one of my deepest passions. Everyone is different, we all have different objectives, hobbies, and goals. So it is crucial for me to make every class different depending on each student and help them achieve what they are looking for. On the first day, we have a little chat so I can get to know the students and what they are looking for. After that the student must take a general quiz that allows to know their current level and what we can improve on. My class consist on aquiring the knowledge needed to handle all the tools required to be able to communicate, express your toughts and ideas. Communication is the most important part, for that reason I prioritize the practical skills rather than the theory (like grammar for example), but that doesnt mean grammar isn´t in the schedule! It is important to have balance and to not alienate any subjects but i believe is far better to have good interactions with people from around the world than to just remember a few rules if you cant put them to good use.
