To start with, I studied English literature in Fudan University (a top3 university in china), during which period I participated in exchange programs respectively in America, England, Germany, Japan and New Zealand. I have rich experiences in teaching languages. While in college, I taught foreign students to learn their second language. After graduation, I teach English as a subject in one of the top schools in Shanghai. With teenagers, it is very important to keep patience and maintain lively class atmosphere. During weekends, two friends and I organize language activities for office workers in Shanghai. We give lectures and hold meetings, where people share language learning experiences and exchange ideas about different topics. These fun and meaningful activities really brighten up my days. As for certification, I've got the National Teaching Certificate (high school English). My mandarin level is 2A and I've got 8.0 for IELTS. Also, I'm on my way to get the CTCSOL this year. My teaching method is both professional and flexible. On one hand, learning languages and literature in university for altogether 7 years provides me with a profound understanding of the relationship between language and culture. Besides the Chinese language system--its characters, words and expressions, grammar points, I will also share the most authentic Chinese culture with you. On the other hand, over these years, I gained experience in teaching students who vary in nation and age. Therefore, whether you are beginners or quite advanced, I’ll custom a lesson plan for you, and tailor the lessons to your goals and pacing, thus making Chinese learning easier for you.
