Tengo más de 10 años de experiencia dando clases tanto en academias de idiomas como particulares. También trabajo desde hace 4 años en la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya guiando a grupos de alumnos en el aprendizaje del idioma y creando materiales didácticos. Estudié un año en una Universidad de Japón, cerca de Tokyo, y en la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. Tengo el título de nivel superior (Nihongo Noryoku Shiken 2KYUU), y también el certificado de Nivel Superior de la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Barcelona. Soy diplomada en magisterio en la Universidad de Barcelona. Creo que no hay mejor manera que aprender con alguien que al igual que tú ha tenido que esforzarse mucho por aprender este idioma y que por lo tanto sabe cuáles son los mejores recursos, trucos, etc. Facilito todo tipo de materiales (poseo una gran cantidad de libros, cuadernos, diccionarios, novelas, videos...) y siempre oriento las clases en función de las necesidades e intereses de cada alumno. Intento hacer las clases lo más dinámicas posibles (a través de diferentes recursos como videos o audios), y trabajo tanto la comprensión oral, escrita, la conversación... No te lo pienses más y cumple ya tu sueño de aprender japonés ;) がんばりましょう！(ganbarimashou!)

Hello, my name is James. I'm currently studying undergraduate English at the University of London. Learning English is something that takes time and effort. Also, there may be many challenges and times when it’s hard. There may be times when it feels like it’s an uphill struggle. Studying English, though, can have many benefits, including in terms of business, academic studies, and leisure. One of the ways that I will approach teaching is to see where the person learning is currently at, and where they want to get to. Integrating learning English with business needs or leisure can be a helpful way of making the content of learning English more relevant or more enjoyable. At the start of the introduction, I mentioned some of the potential challenges. I think that I can offer encouragement to those who take classes with me to continue through those challenges to get to the benefits of learning English. Those benefits can include, but are not limited to, potential business and academic opportunities. They can also include a sense of achievement.
