I use the communicative approach, with the goal of the student being able to actively produce and use what is learned by the end of the lesson. We start with a warm up, then I present the material, find out what the student knows about it, explain it as necessary, then give the student controlled practice with it, followed by more open practice.

My personal approach is to teach you English based on "your individual goals" and "the type of learner you are" because everyone is different, and everyone learns differently. However, my lessons cover the four fundamental aspects: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. I am experienced in teaching English, to adults and children from the age of 8.

I am TEFL certified with 120 hours. In addition, I have an ABET certification. I’m presently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Education at the University of South Africa. I have four years of ESL experience and two years of classroom teaching experience.
