Hey there! My name is Tinika and I study English and Dutch at the college for teaching in Suriname, named the IOL. Apart from that, I know and speak both Dutch and English natively. I live in Suriname, where Dutch is our Native language, and grew up English-speaking, which explains my fluency in English. With my knowledge, good speaking skills, and knowing how to properly communicate with others, a teaching career seems like the right career for me to pursue. As a teacher, I am more focused on helping my student(s) achieve their goal as best and quickly as I can. Therefore your suggestions will be more lesson material than mine are. Salut! Je m'appelle Tinika et j'étudie l'anglais et le néerlandais au collège d'enseignement au Suriname, nommé IOL. En dehors de cela, je connais et parle le néerlandais et l'anglais de manière native. Je vis au Suriname, où le néerlandais est notre langue maternelle, et j'ai grandi anglophone, ce qui explique ma maîtrise de l'anglais. Avec mes connaissances, mes bonnes capacités d'expression orale et ma capacité à communiquer correctement avec les autres, une carrière dans l'enseignement me semble être la bonne carrière à poursuivre. En tant qu'enseignant, je me concentre davantage sur le fait d'aider mes élèves à atteindre leur objectif le mieux et le plus rapidement possible. Very good teacher! Highly recommend.

A great first class

The classes were interactive and we had fun, I really like the way Tinika teaches and organises the lessons. I have learned a lot, and I would definetely recommened her to other people, either begginers and / or more advanced students.

I am already two weeks following lessons with Tinika, 6 hours per week; my experience is excellent, she uses a good system to teach, following language levels with a rich material to achieve goals per week. I am very happy with the outcome, I recommend Tinika as an excellent professional teacher.

Hello! My name is Ruud, I'm a born and raised Dutchman who moved to the USA for love in 2003 - and I'm still there. In the meantime, I have been able to keep my native Dutch language skills current and up-to-date, either by working with my overseas peers, communicating with my family, listening to Dutch radio and other audio content and watching Dutch TV programs and video content. No, I'm not a teacher and I do not pretend to be one, but I will be able to teach Dutch in a less formal manner which will help not only in understanding the basics in communication, but also feel more confident verbally which helps in tackling the grammar. I have seen my partners struggle with their Dutch lessons as they got bogged down by all the rules and I'd want to make sure that does not happen. Any questions, please let me know!
