Para empezar nos ocuparemos de los conceptos básicos necesarios para aprender el idioma griego, la etimología es muy útil para conectar un idioma con otro y entenderlo en profundidad. Pero dependerá de cada alumno, si quieres puedo saltarme la mayoría de los pronombres y la gramática y se centra en el diálogo y el habla cotidiana. Mi método de enseñanza incluirá medios tecnológicos como el video y la música. Para cualquier otra propuesta relacionada con el curso estoy a su disposición.

Γεια σας! My name is Petros! I am a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Crete. I did my master's degree in Ottoman history at the same university in cooperation with the Institute of Mediterranean Studies and in 2023 I will complete my PhD thesis at the same institutions. Also in 2022 I completed the "Seminar in Teaching Greek as a second/foreign language: Theory and Practice" at the University of the Aegean. I have a lot of experience in foreign languages, as I have dealt with several in the past years. English (C2), Turkish (C1), French (B2), German (B1) and Ottoman Turkish! I have experience of teaching Greek to immigrants. I try to adapt the lessons according to the level of the students. Our lessons will include knowledge of music, cinema, food and other aspects of Greek culture. As I am also familiar with the Turkish language I can explain similarities between the two languages in terms of vocabulary as many Greek words come from the Turkish language. Hello everyone! My name is Sara, and I give lessons in Italian literature, history, geography, art history, French, Latin, Greek and English; regarding the last three subjects I mentioned, I mean both language and literature. In addition to specializing in these subjects, I am a teaching tutor (helping with tasks of all kinds). I have already helped many kids with their homework and studying, not only from a theoretical but also methodological point of view. Furthermore, I am a Psychology student: thanks to my knowledge, I recommend learning methods suited to everyone's needs. I supported male and female students with various difficulties: memorization, organization of time, concentration, methodology and poor understanding of the Italian language. I still remember a beautiful milestone in my career: a person who had difficulty in Italian and learning Italian literature asked me for help in studying the entire fifth year program from scratch, in order to take the Maturity exam. I promptly offered my support, creating summaries and PowerPoint presentations that were very easy to understand and very comprehensive. The result was exceptional: during the lessons (5 in total) I managed to summarize all the authors of the fifth year (from Leopardi to Saba), and the Maturity Exam was successfully completed! Γεια σας! I am Katerina, 30 years old and live in Thessaloniki, Greece. I have a BA in Greek Philology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a grade of 8.94 and a MA in Sociology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Ι have over 6 years of experience with teaching Greek to foreigners in the Open Universities (Volkshochschulen) in Bayern, Germany as well as in private language schools and preparing students for the Examination for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Greek (CGL) and for the Greek Citizenship Examination. Moreover, I have the EUROLTA Certification (Foreign Language Teaching to Adults). I like setting clear personal goals with every student in order for the progress to be obvious even from the second lesson. I am a positive, patient, kind, supportive and creative person with knowledge of teaching psychology. I can adapt any material in the needs of every student depending on his/her goals and I can teach in a way natural to every student. Being an avid learner of languages myself, I know first-hand the trials and tribulations of learning a language and have developed some unique ways to help the student learn in a fun and efficient way.
