Hello! I’m a passionate Mathematics tutor with over 10 year of tutoring experience, but my journey with Mathematics began long before I became a tutor. From primary school through university, Mathematics was consistently one of my strongest subjects. I was often recognised as one of the best students in Mathematics, and my teachers regularly praised my ability to understand concepts quickly, solve problems logically and explain difficult questions clearly. Some even told me that I should become a mathematician and teach Mathematics because of how naturally I understood and explained it. Those words stayed with me and helped shape my passion for teaching. Today, what I enjoy most is helping students experience that same moment when something they thought was difficult suddenly becomes clear. I’ve had students tell me, “I was finding it hard to comprehend that, but now I understand clearly. This is so simple!” and even, “You’re so good at Mathematics, you should be teaching me!” I’ve also seen the impact of my tutoring on students’ academic performance. I’ve helped students improve from C grades to A grades and, in some cases, from F grades to A grades. Hearing a student say, “Thank you so much, I excelled in my exams,” is one of the most rewarding parts of being a tutor. My classes are personalised to each student. I first identify what you already understand and where you need support, then explain each concept step by step using clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and questions that develop independent thinking. I don’t want you to simply memorise formulas or copy methods. I want you to understand why something works, know how to apply it to different questions and develop the confidence to solve problems on your own. I teach Basic Maths, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics and Calculus to Elementary, Middle School, High School students.
