En mis clases busco que la química, la física, las matemáticas y las ciencias naturales dejen de sentirse difíciles o lejanas. Me gusta relacionar los temas con situaciones de la vida real para que los estudiantes comprendan el “por qué” de las cosas y no solo memoricen fórmulas. Soy una persona paciente, organizada y empática, así que adapto las clases al ritmo y contexto de cada estudiante. Además, tengo nivel de inglés B2 y una afinidad muy fuerte por el análisis, los números y la resolución de problemas. A lo largo de mi experiencia dando tutorías particulares, algo que siempre destacan mis estudiantes es que logro hacer que la ciencia se sienta más sencilla, cercana e incluso interesante para quienes antes pensaban que no eran buenos en ella. Fuera del ámbito académico, disfruto mucho leer, ver series y seguir aprendiendo sobre ciencia y cómo esta se conecta con nuestra vida cotidiana.

I am a full-time PhD student specializing in data patterns and analysis in physics. I hold a Master's and Bachelor's degree in physics, both with first division honors. I have experience teaching students preparing for IIT-JEE and NEET, as well as 11th and 12th-grade physics. Additionally, I have taught game development coding to students from 8th to 12th grade and have also instructed college-level students in graduate physics. I am passionate about physics and have successfully cracked some of the toughest competitive exams in the field, such as JRF and GATE. Currently, I work in one of the top research labs in India. I don't teach using formal bookish language because I never enjoyed it myself. The first 15 minutes of my class are dedicated to discussing why the topic is important in physics, working on your natural curiosity. The next 20 minutes cover concepts, equations, and derivations. The final 25 minutes are focused entirely on questions, ranging from conceptual to numerical. I'll assign two daily homework questions to solidify your understanding of the concepts. This approach will engage your brain and you will start loving physics soon. Eventually, we will have a suitable plan that fits the requirements. We will keep improvising it until we find the most efficient way.

I'm originally from the United States but have lived and studied in a wide variety of countries. I have experience teaching biology at a range of levels. I'm extremely passionate about biology and about helping people understand the concepts and ideas that I find so fascinating. I give classes on a wide variety of aspects of biology, and am willing to focus on anything in particular as necessary. My main focus is on ecology, zoology, botany, and evolutionary biology, but I am also happy to teach microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology, and many other subjects. I can teach for high school or college level. As well, I did the International Baccalaureate program and can teach for IB biology in particular as well. Just let me know what specific subjects you would like us to focus on and I will create a lesson plan, which will include an overview of the concepts followed by walking you through some applied problems/questions until you have a good grasp of the material.
