Desde que me licencié en Lengua y Literatura Españolas en la Universidad de Valencia, he alternado mi actividad profesional con los estudios de doctorado, en los que obtuve un Diploma de Estudios Avanzados en Literatura española y portuguesa. Aparte de la literatura, mi gran pasión es la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera. Por ello orienté mi formación desde el último año de la Licenciatura realizando un periodo de prácticas en el Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad de Valencia y obteniendo el International House Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults (CLTA) en Barcelona. En mis clases de español siempre predomina el aprendizaje colaborativo, a través de un método comunicativo basado en tareas. Considero que una clase de español es eficaz siempre que haga que el alumno se sienta implicado y se divierta, por eso es fundamental para mí adaptar los contenidos a los intereses del alumno. Así mismo, siempre puse especial atención en la cultura española e hispanoamericana a través de su historia y literatura, no solo para la adquisición de una competencia sociolingüística sino también porque es el campo en el que estoy especializado y considero que nada se puede enseñar más eficazmente que lo que realmente se ama. Además de enseñar español como lengua extranjera trabajé de 2009 a 2011 en la educación formal española como profesora de Secundaria de Latín y de Lengua y Literatura. Últimamente uno de mis proyectos favoritos con alumnos de secundaria ha sido el de Escritura Creativa curso que imparto para la Asociación Valenciana de Superdotados y Talentosos (AVAST), en el que animo a alumnos de 6 a más de 20 años, a los que se les haya reconocido algún grado de superdotación intelectual, a profundizar en los aspectos literarios y alcanzar su máximo rendimiento en la expresión del lenguaje.
