FLUENCY AND CONFIDENCE Hello, my name is Deborah, and I'm from sunny South Africa. I'm a native English speaker with over two years of experience teaching English online to adults, teenagers and corporate professionals from around the world. Before becoming an English teacher, I worked as an Intermediate Life Support Paramedic and spent more than 11 years training Basic Life Support Medics and First Aiders. This gave me extensive experience in teaching adults, explaining complex topics clearly, and helping learners build confidence in their abilities. I hold a 300-hour Level 5 TEFL Diploma, covering one-to-one teaching, Young Learners, Teens, Adults, and Business English, from beginner to advanced levels. I have also completed a Certificate in Introduction to Leadership in Teaching. Today, I teach a wide variety of students. Some want to improve their everyday conversational English, while others need English for work, international meetings, presentations, interviews, travel, or professional development. I have experience teaching Business English to corporate learners working in industries such as finance, healthcare, engineering, IT, purchasing, law enforcement, government, and European institutions. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to your individual goals. Whether you're preparing for a GESE exam, improving your fluency, or developing your professional communication skills, I'll help you build confidence and make steady progress. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy growing vegetables, reading, and embroidery. I look forward to helping you achieve your English goals.
