Soy docente de tiempo completo y diseñador de planes de clase, con más de 20 años de trayectoria en la enseñanza del idioma inglés (ELT) y de inglés como lengua extranjera. Mi experiencia profesional incluye trabajos de interpretación técnica de español–inglés–español para empresas globales como Gold Corp, la corporación minera canadiense multinacional, Lear, Kemet (una empresa de YAGEO), Suma Studio Urbano y Spring Window Fashions, entre otras.
Mi perfil académico incluye certificaciones internacionales de formación docente en ESL, como el ICELT otorgado por Cambridge University Press desde el 2009, así como exámenes internacionales de dominio del idioma. Además, he participado en programas de inmersión lingüística en el extranjero, tales como INTO OSU by Oregon State University y el American English Language Program de Arizona State University (ASU) en 2014. Estoy convencido de que estas experiencias fortalecieron enormemente, por un lado, el pleno dominio del idioma inglés y mi familiaridad cultural, y por otro, mis habilidades pedagógicas las cuales me han permitido guiar a mis estudiantes de manera más efectiva frente a los retos y dificultades de aprender inglés como lengua extranjera.
Me gusta mantener un equilibrio entre mi carrera profesional y mi vida personal; por ello, en mi tiempo libre disfruto realizar actividades al aire libre y convivir con mi querida hija y mi amada esposa.
Creo firmemente que todo es posible con paciencia, amor y dedicación, y sé que este proyecto no será la excepción a esa filosofía que intento vivir día a día. Este anuncio no es para ti si solo quieres aprender inglés para preparar un examen; pero si de verdad te motiva aprender el idioma, sigue leyendo.
Las clases son grupales. En mi experiencia esta modalidad es muy positiva para el aprendizaje del idioma, ya que lo más importante es la práctica.
He decidido poner las clases a 5€ para que los alumnos podáis dar entre dos y tres clases a la semana. La mejor manera de aprender el inglés es vivir en un sitio de habla inglesa, pero como imagino que esa no es una opción que estés considerando, lo mejor es dar tantas clases como sea posible a lo largo de la semana, además de leer, ver películas y escuchar música en inglés.
Sobre mi:
A los 15 años viví 10 meses en EEUU y desde entonces enseño el inglés. He trabajado tanto con niños como con adultos. Desde los niveles más bajos (estuve 9 meses de voluntariado en Ghana, África, dando clases a niños de aldeas) como a los más altos (dando clases one to one en academias para preparar el C1 de Cambridge).
Me especializo en personas que tienen dificultades de aprendizaje (he estudiado Pedagogía en la universidad), aunque también he dado clases a alumnos de alto rendimiento.
Me caracteriza mi cercanía con el alumno. Me gusta mucho ver el progreso en el aprendizaje del idioma, me centro principalmente en el Speaking, nunca hablo castellano durante las clases.
Luego en la comprensión de audios, canciones, conferencias...
Y por último en la parte escrita y comprensión lectora.
Soy Joven, alegre, amable y divertido en las clases.
