I am Ayesha, a University Professor, CELTA‑certified and UK‑trained PhD in Applied Linguistics, with 29+ years’ experience helping adults with IELTS, academic work and professional communication. I specialise in exam and interview preparation (IELTS Academic & General, especially Speaking, listening and Writing), thesis and dissertation writing, research articles, research methodology, subjects related to Applied Linguistics, and practical presentation and speaking skills. In our classes, we start from your concrete goal (band score, submission deadline, viva, conference presentation, promotion or interview) and then build a clear weekly plan with targeted practice. You can work with me on: exam strategies and full mock tests, academic and research writing (from outlines to final drafts), research design and discussion of findings, and speaking fluency for real world situations such as meetings, conferences and interviews. You will receive precise feedback on your speaking and writing, improved versions of key sentences and paragraphs, and simple techniques to sound more confident, clear and natural. My style is friendly, organised and supportive, so you always know what to focus on between lessons, and you are welcome to bring your own texts, slides or tasks so every class takes you a step closer to the results that truly matter in your life.
