Χαίρετε! Ονομάζομαι Κωστα Παπαδομανωλάκης. Κατάγομαι από την Ελλάδα και τα ελληνικά είναι η μητρική μου γλώσσα. Πριν από ένα χρόνο, έπειτα από τις σπουδές μου στο τμήμα φιλοσοφικών και κοινωνικών σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης, ξεκίνησα να διδάσκω ελληνικά, κυρίως δια ζωσης. Μαζί μπορούμε να βελτιώσουμε τις προφορικές και γραπτές σας ικανότητες στα ελληνικά ή να προετοιμαστούμε για εξετάσεις ή κάποιο πτυχίο. Προτιμώ το μάθημα να είναι αποτέλεσμα συνεργασίας και όχι η διδασκαλία να γίνεται στείρα από τον καθηγητή! Preparing unique lessons based on students' needs and yearnings is my priority. We can choose material from a wide variety of textbooks and articles. Also, we will do exercises with pictures and flashcards, audio files like parts of broadcasts, movies, and last but not least we will practice speaking. You can choose which area needs to be strengthened. For example, we can emphasize extending vocabulary or improving grammar, or both. I have experience with students who start from zero as much as with advanced students.

Sono Noemi, una ragazza di 25 anni. Ho una laurea triennale in Scienze Politiche e Relazioni Internazionali dell'università La Sapienza, conseguita con il massimo dei voti e precedentemente mi sono diplomata al liceo classico con la votazione di 94/100. In questi anni ho accumulato esperienza nel fornire lezioni private, dapprima all'interno della scuola attraverso il progetto "Peer tutoring" e, poi, autonomamente. Nel corso del tempo ho avuto l’opportunità di seguire ragazzi e ragazze delle scuole medie e delle superiori attraverso lezioni sia in presenza sia online, raggiungendo sempre, con grande gioia, ottimi risultati. Attualmente lavoro in una scuola in cui seguo, ricoprendo un ruolo di supporto, un primo anno della materna e contemporaneamente, all’interno della stessa scuola, mi occupo delle ore di appoggio allo studio per gli studenti delle elementari. Il mio metodo di insegnamento prevede innanzitutto l’ascolto degli studenti e delle studentesse per indagare le loro reali necessità. Dopo di che cerco di capire, confrontandomi con i ragazzi e le ragazze, come poter organizzare al meglio il lavoro. Il mio obiettivo primario è, infatti, quello di adattare ogni ora di lavoro alle esigenze e alle caratteristiche proprie di ogni persona che seguo. Quindi se necessario si può, ad esempio, fare ricorso a mappe, schemi, riassunti, supporti digitali e simili. Nel corso del tempo dedico dei momenti al confronto con gli studenti e le studentesse al fine di valutare come stiamo procedendo, se le modalità di studio funzionano e in generale per mettere in risalto aspetti che si possono cambiare o mantenere. Un altro elemento che mi sta particolarmente, a cuore, oltre al confronto, è quello dell’apprendimento sostanziale. Con ciò voglio dire che per me è molto importante che si impari capendo davvero ciò che si studia, evitando del tutto modalità di studio passive o meccaniche.

Flessibilità, partecipazione, serietà nella leggerezza; questi sono gli obiettivi a cui aspiro. Insegnare (e imparare) è un percorso comune, un’associazione. Credo nella didattica, in quel legame che dovrebbe crearsi tra chi aiuta e chi viene accompagnato, e che non porta con sé solo il risultato del voto finale. Si lavora insieme, con gli occhi verso successi condivisi. E quei successi spesso esulano dal solo campo Scuola, per entrare in quello più ampio della Formazione. Sono più simile ad una studentessa che ad una professoressa; nessuno mi dà del lei, dimostro meno anni di quelli che già (ahimè o per fortuna) porto sulle spalle. L’aspirazione all’insegnamento alle volte ha assunto per me i contorni di una vocazione. Credo di poter davvero dare qualcosa di più ai ragazzi, rispetto a quello che tipicamente si ottiene a scuola.

Γεια σας! My name is Petros! I am a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Crete. I did my master's degree in Ottoman history at the same university in cooperation with the Institute of Mediterranean Studies and in 2023 I completed my PhD thesis at the same institutions. I am also a licensed tour guide in historical and archaeological sites in Greece. Also in 2022 I completed the "Seminar in Teaching Greek as a second/foreign language: Theory and Practice" at the University of the Aegean. I have a lot of experience in foreign languages, as I have dealt with several in the past years. English (C2), Turkish (C1), French (B2), German (B1) and Ottoman Turkish! I have experience of teaching Greek to immigrants. I try to adapt the lessons according to the level of the students. Our lessons will include knowledge of music, cinema, food and other aspects of Greek culture. As I am also familiar with the Turkish language I can explain similarities between the two languages in terms of vocabulary as many Greek words come from the Turkish language.
