My name is Ava Larkson, and I’m an English teacher from Canada with a passion for helping students gain confidence and fluency in the language. Whether you’re working on improving your conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, or academic writing, I’m here to support your learning journey. I’ve been teaching about 6 years for international students and as a teacher I’ve always been interested in languages, helping others learn, and also different cultures. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while also learning from my students’ unique experiences and perspectives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading literature, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I also love spending time in nature; it helps me stay balanced and inspired. I specialize in helping students improve their English communication skills through practical speaking and listening exercises, reading comprehension, and critical thinking. Also for writing and grammar, I’ll help strengthening sentence structure, vocabulary, and writing fluency for both academic and professional contexts. My teaching style is communicative and supportive. I focus on helping students feel confident using English in real-life situations while creating a comfortable and encouraging learning environment through interactive lessons.
