🌟 Hello, my name is Unathi. I’m from Johannesburg, South Africa. I’m a native English speaker with a neutral accent. I am friendly, fun, patient and hardworking teacher. I love travelling, reading biographies and watching current affairs television programs. I enjoy meeting people and socialising with people from all over the world, while exploring their unique and different cultures. I will assist you with improving your English reading, writing and communication skills, according to your pace and needs. I have 2+ years online English teaching experience and a 1-year teaching experience as a customary law tutor, where I was teaching university students face to face. 🌟I am a fully certified TEFL certificate holder. I also have a law degree and English formed part of curriculum. I attended a business English workshops in 2024. I also have a BA Law degree🌟 I am available to teach business English, general English, casual English (conversational), as well as English for academic purposes. I use direct methodology on kids, with images for easy understanding. The images make it easier to remember things, especially with bright colours. I also use grammar approach for all age groups, for strong vocabulary benefits. So, your vocabulary will improve. I use the communicative approach such as doing role plays, which is also important in gaining language fluency. This will make learning more natural and relaxing, So, I will encourage you to talk more, so you could practice and gain confidence with the English skills. Task based approach is used in testing the level of understanding of the student and how far the student is. This is the time when I ask you to do a few fun activities and homework, to help you learn. Each approach I use, depends on the student’s level and objectives. It is important for me to understand your level and what your plan and intention is, with learning English. I know how challenging it is to learn a new language, but with my lessons, you will definitely improve - as I will be motivating you in the process. Please book me for a lesson. I monitor student progress and improvement in my lessons, assuring that the student and I are on the same page with progress. I also guide students in the process, according to the pace they are happy with, on a step by step method. I also make sure that I provide feedback to the students. I have travelled quite a lot in the US and African continent. In my travelling experience, I discovered that English is a universal language, which is being spoken all over the world. This gave me an understanding of how different countries refer to certain objects and how they pronounce their words.
