Hello, I am Candice, and my working record goes back to 25 years of experience in the contact centre industry. I served as an entry level call centre agent in my early days of my career and within a short period of time got promoted into senior leadership roles. In my last 7 years of employment, (2017-2024) I served as the Operational Director of the very company I was a call centre agent.
I have always had a passion for working with people.
I am drawn to continuing to teach, lead, motivate and inspire learners. I have been awarded Inspirational Woman of the year by the highest call centre industry body in November 2023.This is another affirmation of the passion and dedication I have for people to succeed. Throughout my TEFL training, I paid close attention to the expectations of teaching English as a foreign language. I diligently learned teaching techniques and cultivated an understanding of diverse learning styles. This contributed to my eagerness to develop strategies to engage and motivate students effectively. My coursework has equipped me with the necessary tools to create effective lesson plans, tailored to the individual needs of students. In other words, I aim to foster a supportive and interactive learning environment. As a native English speaker, I possess an innate understanding of the language's nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural subtleties. Moreover, my clear diction and articulate communication style serve as exemplary models for language acquisition, inspiring students to emulate and excel in their linguistic endeavours.
