Hi, I'm April, a native Mandarin speaker based in Beijing, China. I speak standard, clear Mandarin and specialize in helping complete beginners build solid pronunciation and helping intermediate learners correct their accent. 👩🏫 I've worked in education for many years — first as a teaching director and later as founder of my own training school — so I know how adults really learn and how to design a course around your needs. Since February 2026, I have received systematic training in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and hold the IMCA International Chinese Teacher Certification (Senior). I have taught foreign students at every HSK level from beginner to advanced, mostly adults — international students and family members of professionals working in China. 🏮 I love traditional Chinese culture, especially Traditional Chinese Medicine, the I Ching and Daoist philosophy. Beyond textbooks, I'm happy to help you understand how Chinese people really think and live. 📚 What I teach: • HSK courses at all levels (HSK 1–6) and exam preparation • Conversational & everyday Chinese — speak from lesson one 🗣️ • Business Chinese: workplace communication, meetings and emails 💼 • Chinese through culture: TCM, traditional festivals, Daoism and the I Ching Absolute beginners can relax: I can explain grammar and instructions in English. From intermediate level up, I teach mostly in Chinese to help you think in Chinese. After every lesson you receive a written summary and practice suggestions ✅. My students are mainly adults. Book a free 20-minute trial lesson 🤝 — we'll discuss your level and goals, and I'll create a personalized plan for you.
