Hi there, Rebecca Adeniji here.
I am a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience across primary and secondary education, including preparation of students for external examinations such as JAMB. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Biology Education from University of Ibadan, Nigeria and have built a strong reputation for making Biology understandable, practical, engaging, and relevant to everyday life.
My teaching approach combines sound subject knowledge with interactive and student-centred methods. I simplify complex biological concepts, encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, think critically, and develop genuine curiosity about the living world.
Beyond classroom teaching, I have experience in lesson planning, practical demonstrations, assessment, classroom management, one-on-one tutoring, and mentoring students academically. I have also taken on leadership responsibilities, including serving as a Science-related Head of Department, where I contributed to effective curriculum delivery and improved learning outcomes.
I am committed to continuous professional development and to creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident to learn, explore, and succeed. My goal as a Biology Teacher goes beyond helping students pass examinations; I seek to equip them with scientific knowledge, critical-thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and an appreciation of life and the environment.
