That's exactly why I believe what truly sustains learning isn't pressure, but interest — and the deepest source of interest comes from a genuine curiosity and love for the cultural soil from which a language grows.
In my classroom, you won't face tedious drills or mechanical dictation. Instead, we'll walk together into the "beauty" and "practicality" of Chinese:
We'll listen to songs — but not just to the melodies. From Teresa Teng's tender grace to Jay Chou's intricate rhymes, from the earthy warmth of folk ballads to the sharp edge of rock, we'll unpack the imagery, emotions, and colloquial expressions woven into the lyrics, allowing you to naturally absorb vocabulary and a feel for the language through music.
