Andreas Kikinas is an accomplished guitarist and educator based in Patras, Greece, with over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience. His musical journey began with jazz and electric guitar, but his artistic focus eventually evolved into a dedicated mastery of acoustic instruments, specializing in Classical and Flamenco guitar.
Andreas holds a Classical Guitar Diploma and a Diploma of Expert in Harmony, both awarded with the distinction of "Excellent" from the Municipal and Prototypo Conservatories of Patras. His technical foundation was further refined through masterclasses with legendary figures such as Oscar Ghiglia, Roland Dyens, and Euaggelos Boudounis. Deepening his connection to the roots of the genre, he traveled to Madrid to study Flamenco guitar under the renowned Jeronimo Maya.
A fixture in the Greek music scene, Andreas has performed at major festivals including the Festival of Patras and the International "Days of Percussion." Today, he balances his active performance career with his role as a Classical Guitar Professor at the Patraiko Conservatory, bringing a wealth of cross-genre expertise to students worldwide.
